Rachel is a co-owner of Rock Riffle Wellness and owns and operates Siegel Transformations, LLC which offers counseling, facilitation, and counselor consultation services. Rachel is a licensed professional clinical counselor with supervision endorsement. She holds a Master’s of Education degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Cleveland State University and completed a clinical residency at The Cleveland Clinic’s Neurological Institute training through the Department of Psychiatry and Psychology and also the Chronic Pain Rehabilitation Program. Rachel works with individuals, families and couples. She has spent over a decade in a variety of settings including university, community-based, medical, and multidisciplinary settings, throughout Ohio working with diverse clients throughout the life span to face anxiety and depression, perinatal mood concerns, heal from traumatic experiences, manage chronic stress and illness, move through loss & grief, explore identity development and relational issues.  Rachel’s approach is strength based and relational drawing from a wide variety of evidenced based models including, cognitive -based frameworks, Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness and acceptance- based therapies; taking into consideration the social inequities and multicultural issues clients face. Rachel provides a validating and affirming environment for LGBTQ+ and marginalized clients. She cares deeply about holding a safe and supportive space to allow for deep emotional attunement and compassion, inviting collaboration to explore your concerns. She has special interest in the use of art, nature-based interventions, and groups as an adjunct to traditional 1:1 talk therapy to help you develop self-awareness and tap into your potential for choice, change, and healing.

Mosha (Crystal) Trout, LPC 

Licensed Counselor

Mosha is a co-owner of Rock Riffle Wellness and owner of Trout Counseling Services, LLC. Mosha is endorsed by the Counselor, Social Work, and Marriage & Family Therapist Board to practice as a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Ohio. She holds a Masters of Education in Counseling and Human Development with an emphasis in Mental Health and a Bachelor of Arts in Counseling and Human Services from Lindsey Wilson College. Mosha has spent the last decade working with children, adolescents, and college students.  She specializes in utilizing trauma informed approaches (i.e., EMDR) to connect to a variety of client concerns including anxiety and depression, sexual and relational trauma, healthy masculinity, improving child parent interactions, addressing family dynamics, assisting children and adolescents in transition. She has a special interest in working with LGBTQ2S+ clients moving through changes in their lives including identity development concerns. Mosha believes in client’s innate power to change their lives, gain clarity and direction, through meaningful honest therapeutic connection.

Samantha Catania, LPCC-S

Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor

Sam is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who holds a Masters of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Rehabilitation Counseling from Ohio University. She has worked in community mental health with children and adolescents, as well as with those experiencing perinatal mood disorders, grief and loss, and parental stress. She is passionate about holding space for moms in matrescence, young people entering adulthood, and the general discovering of identity, self-esteem building, and value formation that occurs amidst significant life changes. Her clients are often looking to manage anxiety and depression, set healthy boundaries in relationships, understand family dynamics, work through trauma, and/or improve communication skills. Sam’s integrative person centered approach draws from mindfulness, movement, nature, and creativity with the mindset that therapy should be tailored to an individual’s needs and personality. Additionally, she is a Child-Parent Psychotherapy rostered clinician, Certified Educator of Infant Massage, and 200hr yoga instructor.

Anna Teske, LISW

Licensed Independent Social Worker

Anna is a licensed independent social worker with experience working with children, teens, adults, and families. She holds a Master’s of Social Work, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and an Associate of Arts with an emphasis on Arts and Humanities from Ohio University. Prior to joining Rock Riffle Wellness, she worked in community mental health for over seven years providing services in substance use treatment and case management, early childhood development and intervention, home-based family therapy and parent training, and clinical therapy services for children, adults and families. She completed specialized training for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Parent Child Interaction Therapy, Child Parent Psychotherapy and is a Certified Educator of Infant Massage. She currently works with children of all ages, teens, and adults. She is passionate about creating and holding a brave space for people to explore, create, and sustain their own identity while building a tool kit of skills to nurture their mental health and wellbeing throughout their experiences.

Drea Renzelli, LISW-S

Drea Renzelli is a Licensed Independent Social Worker who has been practicing in the Athens, OH area since she finished her Master of Social Work in 2005. She is the owner of  Drea Renzelli, LISW-S, LLC. Drea has worked in Emergency Mental Health, Community Mental Health, and Private Practice. She currently works with adolescents and adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, PTSD, situational crisis, and those who are navigating interpersonal relationships. Drea has a special interest in working with individuals who are experiencing the effects of past or current trauma or abuse. Drea utilizes various strengths-based treatment modalities to best fit the needs of the client. She uses Cognitive based approaches, EMDR, Mindfulness, and Person-Centered approaches. She has specialized training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Therapy helping clients heal from trauma or other distressing life events. Drea offers a safe, open, and non-judgmental space where clients can feel comfortable working through their most difficult experiences.

Laurie Fox, Ph.D.

Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Fox holds a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Ohio University, where she specialized in health psychology. She has over 15 years of experience providing psychotherapy and assessment to individuals in Southeast Ohio and has worked in a number of clinical settings, most recently a VA outpatient medical center delivering psychology services to veterans in their homes. She has a passion for working with individuals who need assistance making health-related behavior
changes, such as improving sleep, quitting tobacco, modifying unhealthy eating patterns, managing chronic illness, and reducing the health impact of stress. In addition to these areas of specialization, Dr. Fox welcomes clients who may be experiencing anxiety (e.g., specific phobias, medical anxiety, generalized anxiety, and panic), depression, traumatic stress, grief and loss, or life transition issues (e.g., divorce, pregnancy, end of life).


Dr. Fox uses the following treatment approaches in her practice: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (including CBT for insomnia, CBT for chronic pain, and exposure-based protocols), and mindfulness-based interventions. She is able to provide services to adolescents (15 and up) and adults. Dr. Fox accepts Medical Mutual insurance as well as private-pay clients. Dr. Fox does not have the clinical expertise to treat
primary substance abuse disorders, eating disorders, or developmental trauma.

 

In her interactions with clients, Dr. Fox strives to be an openhearted listener who brings compassion, insight, and a touch of playful humor into the therapy room. Her goal is to help clients gain clarity about their specific challenges, reinforce existing strengths, and develop new skills based on personal values to encourage more a more meaningful connection to their lives.
